About
A journey of reinvention.
My path into design was a reinvention. I came from financial operations and taught myself design late at night — and somewhere along the way I became a dad (twice) and moved across the world. Every one of those milestones shaped how I think, lead, and build.
Today I lead design for Global Markets at State Street; before that I led AI design on Goldman Sachs' Marquee platform. I work as a design engineer — prototyping in code, shipping design systems as packages, and turning our design standards into a pipeline, so new work starts roughly 80% compliant before a human touches it.
As AI absorbs generation, the durable design skill is defining the standard a machine can act on. I teach taste. I don't perform it.

Leadership

When product scales, we don't default to adding headcount — we look at tooling first.
